Angelo Joseph, MSc (Physics)
Angelo Joseph is responsible for the strategic research and development of the firm. Angelo gained a wealth of knowledge working as a researcher at Rand Merchant Bank and market risk analyst at Nedbank Capital. He consulted on derivatives to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Before incorporating Quant Analyst, he was a member of the Fixed Income Investment Committee at PSG Asset Management.
Angelo has a Master of Science degree in Physics and holds membership at the Institute of Financial Markets. He is also a member of the Certified Quantitative Finance Institute. Angelo published several business scientific research outputs at high-impact conferences held in Romania, Oxford, and Sydney. He has more than a decade worth of experience in research and development. He recently submitted his dissertation for a doctoral degree from the School of Business Leadership at the University of South Africa.
Melwynn Koopman, BCom (Accounting)
Melwynn Koopman is responsible for the compliance and the management of operational and financial risks. Melwynn holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial Accounting from the University of Johannesburg. He has completed his articles at a registered auditing firm and has significant experience in business economics. He has expert knowledge in the evaluation and assessments of systems used for compliance and risk reporting. He is in the process of obtaining a Certificate in the Theory of Management Accounting (CTMA) – a qualification that is endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Kenneth Koh, MEng (Operations)
Kenneth Koh is responsible for the operational intelligence of the firm. Kenneth holds a Master of Engineering degree in Operations Research from Cornell University. He has more than a decade worth of experience in fundamental and technical analysis. He is a chartered market technician and has a wealth of experience in strategic analysis. He is an expert in intelligently combining the right operations to optimise business strategy.
